March 14 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Monday's National Hockey League games Islanders 3, Panthers 2 Cal Clutterbuck's goal with 1:38 left in the third period capped a stunning late comeback by the New York Islanders, who scored three goals in the final 7:10 Monday night to beat the Florida Panthers 3-2 at Barclays Center. The Islanders, who were limited to just 11 shots in the first two periods, tied the game during a dramatic 81-second span late in the third in which Kyle Okposo fired a shot past goalie Roberto Luongo and Josh Bailey tucked a redirected shot into the open right corner of the net. Kings 5, Blackhawks 0 Goaltender Jonathan Quick stopped all 32 shots he faced, and the Los Angeles Kings cruised to a 5-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night. Kris Versteeg, Milan Lucic and Vincent Lecavalier were among five players to score for the Kings. Los Angeles (41-22-5) improved to 20-11-3 on the road and earned at least one point for the fifth time in the past six games. Predators 3, Oilers 2 James Neal put the Nashville Predators on his back Monday night. The Predators left winger's hat trick propelled the Preds to a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. Neal's third goal, a wicked wrist shot over the shoulder of Oilers goalie Laurent Brossoit at 4:17 of the third period, broke a 2-2 tie. Flames 7, Blues 4 Michael Frolik scored three goals and the Calgary Flames ended a St. Louis Blues winning streak at six games with a 7-4 victory on Monday. It was the first win for Calgary (29-35-5) against St. Louis (41-21-9) in seven contests and prevented their visitors from taking over top spot in the Western Conference's Central Division. Jets 5, Canucks 2 Marko Dano scored twice and added an assist as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 Monday night. Tyler Myers had a goal and assist for Winnipeg (29-35-5). Alex Burmistrov and Mark Scheifele also scored while Mathieu Perreault had two assists for the Jets, who have won two straight games but are 2-4-1 in their last seven road games. Ducks 7, Devils 1 Jakob Silfverberg had three goals and an assist, leading the Anaheim Ducks to a 7-1 rout of the New Jersey Devils on Monday night at the Honda Center. Silfverberg accomplished the first hat trick and the first four-point game of his career. Linemates Ryan Kesler and Andrew Cogliano each contributed a goal and two assists.
