Thursday Night Football prediction

Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders, 5:15 p.m., Amazon Prime Video (stream with Amazon Prime Video)

The Commanders impressed us in their overtime loss to the Eagles last week. Their defense could feast on the Bears' offensive line.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills, 6:30 a.m., NFL Network (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Jaguars looked good in their NFL Week 4 London win over the Falcons, but the Bills are not the Falcons.

Prediction: Bills 28, Jaguars 20

Sunday early football games predictions

Houston Texans at Atlanta Falcons, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

Are C.J. Stroud and the 2-2 Texans for real? We'll find out if they can make it three wins in a row on Sunday. We think they can.

Prediction: Texans 21, Falcons 17

Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

We don't think the Panthers are going to lose every game this season, but we don't think their first win will come in Week 5.

Prediction: Lions 30, Panthers 17

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Titans are 2-0 at home and 0-2 on the road. Since they play this game on the road, we'll go with the home team.

Prediction: Colts 23, Titans 20

New York Giants at Miami Dolphins, 10 a.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Dolphins will be angry after their embarrassing loss against the Bills. Advantage: Miami.

Prediction: Dolphins 34, Giants 21

New Orleans Saints at New England Patriots, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

Two struggling offenses square off, so this one might come down to which defense makes more plays. Give us the Saints.

Prediction: Saints 20, Patriots 16

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers, 10 a.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Ravens seemed to flip a switch offensively in their win over the Browns. That's bad news for the rest of the AFC North.

Prediction: Ravens 27, Steelers 17

Sunday late football games predictions

Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals, 1:05 p.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

We've picked against the Cardinals in every game this season. Not this game. The Bengals' woes will continue with a loss to Arizona.

Prediction: Cardinals 24, Bengals 16

Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams, 1:05 p.m., FOX (stream with free trial from FUBO)

The Rams have surprised us with their play this season, but a win over the Eagles would really surprise us.

Prediction: Eagles 30, Rams 23

New York Jets at Denver Broncos, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

Zach Wilson appeared to take a step forward in the loss to the Chiefs in Week 4 for the Jets. We think he'll lead New York to a win in Week 5.

Prediction: Jets 20, Broncos 17

Kansas City Chiefs at Minnesota Vikings, 1:25 p.m., CBS (stream with free trial from FUBO)

We were not impressed with the Chiefs' play in the win over the Jets. They are ripe for another loss, with Justin Jefferson going off at home.

Prediction: Vikings 27, Chiefs 24
