NFL standings 2023: All 4 AFC South teams tied with 2-2 records

The entire AFC South is sitting at .500 after the first four weeks of the 2023 season.

The only team in the division that entered Week 4 with a winning record was the only one that lost Sunday. The Indianapolis Colts lost 29-23 to the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, dropping them back down to 2-2.

Earlier in the day, the Jacksonville Jaguars got back in the win column with a 23-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons in London. The Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans also got to 2-2 with comfortable wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively.

With nearly a quarter of the season in the books, here’s how the teams technically rank based on tiebreakers:

  1. Indianapolis Colts: 2-2

  2. Tennessee Titans: 2-2

  3. Houston Texans: 2-2

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: 2-2

Yes, the Jaguars are still last place based off tiebreakers that definitely won’t matter for long.

Indianapolis and Tennessee slide to the top thanks to 2-1 records in AFC play while Houston and Jacksonville are both 1-2 against conference opponents. The Colts are ahead of the Titans based on the strength of victory tiebreaker and the Texans hold the edge over the Jaguars because of their Week 3 win at EverBank Stadium.

The Colts and Titans will play each other in Week 3, while the Texans will travel to play the Falcons and the Jaguars will meet the Buffalo Bills in London.
