NFL playoff picture Week 15: Cowboys, Buccaneers shake up NFL postseason standings

Two NFL teams made leaps in the NFL Week 15 playoff picture based on the results of their NFL Week 14 games, while the two teams they beat plummeted in the postseason standings.

The Dallas Cowboys rose three spots in the NFC playoff picture to No. 2 thanks to their 33-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, who fell four spots to No. 5.

But the biggest boost of the week in the NFL playoff standings went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who rose six spots, from No. 10 to No. 4, thanks to their 29-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons dropped six spots in the playoff standings with the loss, going from No. 4 to No. 10.

The top seed in each conference gets a bye in the wild-card round of the NFL postseason and the other division winners get the No. 2 through No. 4 seeds.

The No. 5, No. 6 and No. 7 seeds go to the non-division winners with the best records.

Here's how the NFC and AFC playoffs would look if the postseason began after NFL Week 14.
