It took until the final seconds, but the Miami Dolphins picked up a signature win and clinched a playoff berth in the process on Sunday night.

The Dolphins edged out the Dallas Cowboys and kicked a game-winning field goal to grab a 22-20 win at Hard Rock Stadium. Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders, who hit three field goals from 50-yards earlier in the game, hit a 29-yard field goal as time expired to grab the two-point win.

The Cowboys rallied from a nine-point hole in the fourth quarter to keep it close late. The Cowboys took an early 7-3 lead in the first quarter after a 49-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb, but then the two teams got into a field goal battle until the fourth quarter.

After Brandon Aubrey hit a 33-yarder to cut the deficit to just six points, Prescott hit Brandin Cooks in the corner of the end zone to suddenly put Dallas up by a single point with just 3:27 left in the game. That score came on a 17-play drive, which was the Cowboys' longest of the year.

Yet the Dolphins marched down the field, ran out the clock and set up Sanders' final field goal to win the game.

Prescott went 20-of-32 for 253 yards with two touchdowns in the loss. Tony Pollard had 38 yards on 12 carries, and Lamb had 118 yards on six catches.

Tua Tagovailoa went 24-of-37 for 293 yards with a touchdown, and Raheem Mostert had 46 yards on 11 carries. Hill had 99 yards on nine catches.
