NFL Free Agency: Safety Jordan Poyer joining Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are adding former Bills safety Jordan Poyer.

Poyer, 32, has more than 90 tackles in six of the last seven seasons.

Poyer was All Pro in 2021 and a Pro Bowler in 2022.

Poyer also has 24 career interceptions, though none last season.

In 2013, Poyer was a seventh-round pick from Oregon State.

For years Poyer formed a dynamic safety duo with Micah Hyde in Buffalo.

Now Poyer wil team with young, rising free safety star Jevon Holland.

Poyer has been consistent over the last five years, graded between 73 and 79 in each of those seasons.

Poyer has consistently graded well in run defense and tackling.

Poyer was a necessary addition, with Brandon Jones signing with Denver.

DeShon Elliott, a starter at safety for the Dolphins last season, was unsigned at the time Poyer agreed to terms.
