Welcome to NFL Week 10, which kicks off Thursday night as the Chicago Bears host the Carolina Panthers.

Chicago Bears -3.5 (-110) vs. Carolina Panthers +3.5 (-110)

The Bears enter Thursday night's game at 2-7, which is one more win than the Panthers have this season. The NFL's Thursday Night Football slate on Amazon Prime hasn't featured great contests, but this actually has all the makings of a game only dedicated bettors want to watch. Both teams are slightly better against the spread than winning actual games this year, but the numbers aren't pretty. The Bears have yet to cover the spread as a home favorite and the Panthers have yet to cover as a road team. One of those streaks will end tonight unless the game ends in a tie.

I'll personally be betting under the projected point total of 38.

The pick: Bears -3.5

New England Patriots +1.5 (-110) vs. Indianapolis Colts -1.5 (-110)

There are reports circulating that Bill Belichik is coaching for his job this weekend, which seems far-fetched. Indianapolis, at 4-5, seems like the play here because of the Patriots' struggles this year, but the Patriots are 5-4 against the spread in neutral-site games since 2003. With the hook being added for a 1.5-point spread, I'll be playing the Patriots even money to win outright (+100) and also the spread.

The pick: Patriots +1.5

Dallas Cowboys -17 (-110) vs. New York Giants +17 (-110)

The Cowboys are coming off a key loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but are the biggest favorite I've seen since forever in the NFL. The Giants are third-worst team against the spread this year (2-6-1) and the number has gone from 14.5 opening to 17, depending on which book you use.

The pick: Cowboys -17

Cincinnati Bengals -7 (-110) vs. Houston Texans +7 (-110)

The Bengals are on a four-game win streak and host C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans on Sunday at 1 p.m. Stroud is coming off a record-setting performance last week. Bengals' wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are still on the injury report for the Bengals, so the offense could be limited if either of them can't play.

Dave Portnoy picks the Bengals: Founder of Barstool Sports, places huge bet on Cincinnati to win Super Bowl

While the Bengals have made all their progress in non-division games, only one victory came against an AFC opponent, which was last week's win over the Bills. The key number here is seven, so there's a decent chance for a push.

The pick: Bengals -7

Last week's record: 4-1
