NFL agent slams Seattle Seahawks, praises Arizona Cardinals after L.J. Collier's signing
The Arizona Cardinals agreed to terms with NFL free agent L.J. Collier on Tuesday and the defensive lineman's agent interestingly slammed his client's former team after the news broke.
KPRC 2 Houston's Aaron Wilson tweeted: "Scott Casterline @ScottCasterline on L.J. Collier to #Cardinals 'Our main objective was getting L.J. to the right team, right coaching staff and right scheme. Look at what they did last year in Philadelphia. They play upfield. Jonathan Gannon is what you want in a coach.' @KPRC2"
Casterline retweeted the tweet from Wilson.
The Cardinals being the "right team, right coaching staff and right scheme" presumably means that the Seahawks, who drafted Collier in the first round in 2019, were not.

The former TCU standout spent the first seven weeks of last season on the injured reserve with an elbow injury and then a thumb injury.
He started 16 of 45 regular season games he played in Seattle, with all of the starts coming in 2020.
Collier, 27, has three career sacks. He had seven total tackles last season and 40 in his career.

#Cardinals are signing former first-round pick L.J. Collier to a one-year deal. Interesting player -- didn't work out in Seattle but has pedigree, and Arizona plans to use him all over the defensive line.
