Who We Wish the Baltimore Ravens would have Drafted
During the 2017 NFL draft the Baltimore Ravens addressed a couple of needs and shored up starting positions.
With their first round pick the Ravens took Marlon Humphery, a lockdown day one starter at cornerback that is adaptable to nearly any system.
Selecting Tyus Bowser in the second round adds another element to the Ravens front seven and gives them versatility in the pass rush. With third round pick-ups of Tim Williams and Chris Wormley, the Ravens pass rush should be tough to compete with for nearly any offense.
The Ravens needed to address their offensive line in this draft which they did with their 4th and 5th round picks. They selected interior offensive lineman, former San Diego State standout Nico Siragusa, and Texas A&M offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor.

The Ravens made some good picks and addressed a lot of their needs in this draft, though there are players we all wish they would have taken when they had the chance.

For instance, the Ravens could have taken Forrest Lamp in the first round, who would have been a day one starter. Though the Ravens are mostly forgiven after they took other interior offensive lineman who could possibly fill the spot at left guard.
The second player we wish the Ravens would have picked is JuJu Smith-Schuster. Baltimore needs a deep play maker, a position that Smith-Schuster could have filled. He could have been picked by Baltimore in the second round.
The third player that we wish the Ravens would have drafted is Donnel Pumphrey. Pumphrey is a versatile play maker that could have shored up the Ravens backfield situation and potentially spiked the Ravens offensive productivity.
All in all, the Ravens hit the defensive side of the ball hard the first three rounds. With the selection of a great defensive back and three talented and versatile pass rushers, things are looking up for the Ravens pass defense in 2017.
