Where does Jim Irsay go now?

Colts

After dragging out the fate of Chuck Pagano and Ryan Grigson for two long weeks, it seems as though Jim Irsay will keep the duo for their 6th season. No, Irsay has not publicly announced that “Grigano” will be returning. But all sign indicate that the “dyanmic” duo will return in 2017.

Why? Because at this point, Irsay wants an experienced coach to take over the helm here in Indianapolis. So you can rule out the one young candidate left on the market in Kyle Shanahan.

Jon Gruden and Peyton Manning have already turned down offers to come to the Colts. Granted, Peyton was only interested in a front office role, but this still shows you the future of the team.

Yet, a job that allows you work with Andrew Luck (just entering his prime) should be an enticing job. So what does Jim Irsay do now? Wait, and just wait some more.

We are already committed to another dull year in 2017. One that will see Grigson make questionable draft choices, and Pagano to make even more questionable game decisions.

Welcome to the Twilight zone Mr. Irsay, population the Colts. But let’s hope that after another mediocre 8-8 or maybe 9-7 season you will have the gull to finally right this ship.
