‘The Magic School Bus’: Netflix Reboot to Feature Familiar Voices

Netflix continues its campaign to reboot all your favorite TV memories with a revival of The Magic School Bus. The new series was originally announced by Netflix in 2014 — 20 years after the original debuted on PBS — with the working title The Magic School Bus 360°, and will reportedly feature updated computer-generated animation.

Stuart Stone, who voiced Ralphie on the original series, recently rekindled interest in the reboot when he told TMZ that familiar voices will be taking another field trip with the Frizz. Stone went on to admit that the young actors portraying Ms. Frizzle’s new class didn’t exactly meet him with open arms. He also promised more celebrity cameos in the upcoming season, but couldn’t divulge any names as Netflix has been particularly tight-lipped about the whole project.

No specific release date has been announced yet, and besides Stone’s involvement no other voice actors have been confirmed. The show was nominated for nine Daytime Emmy Awards, and Lily Tomlin for voicing Ms. Frizzle in 1995.
