Kings trade for Luc Richard Mbah a Moute

The Sacramento Kings have acquired forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute from the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade for two second-round picks, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

Mbah a Moute averaged 6.7 points and 4.4 rebounds while starting in 45 of 58 games for the Bucks last season, but the Kings acquired him because of his defensive ability. The Kings ranked last in the NBA in defense last season, allowing 105.1 points per game. Mbah a Moute is a versatile wing defender who could replace Tyreke Evans in the starting lineup.

Mbah a Moute, 26, will be paid $4.5 million next season and $4.3 million during the 2014-15 season. In exchange, the Kings give up second-round picks in 2016 and 2018.
