49ers Beaten by Seahawks, 17-7
The 49ers were handled by the Seahawks, 17-7, at CenturyLink Field.
Colin Kaepernick finished 11 for 19 passing for only 141 yards and no touchdowns and no interceptions. For the Seahawks, Russell Wilson wound up 12 for 24 with 168 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick.
Carlos Hyde rushed for 55 yards on six carries. Garrett Celek caught one pass for 31 yards.
The San Francisco defense stood its ground in the loss, giving up 152 yards rushing and 168 passing. They roughed up Wilson with five sacks.
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was impressive, churning out 91 yards rushing and one touchdown. Wide receiver Jermaine Kearse also performed well with 78 receiving yards.
The 49ers are at home to take on the Chargers (8-6) next week while the Seahawks travel to Glendale to meet the Cardinals (11-3).
