Oct. 26—Megan Sullivan

Riverside>>Girls cross country

Junior

On the course: Was 16th at the Division I Madison District in 19:46.83. At the WRC meet, was fifth in 19:46 as the Beavers were team runner-up. Also came in third at Centerville Night Lights as Riverside won the team title.

Off the course: Plans on running cross country and track and field in college. Favorite cross country memories were made during Riverside's night race. Enjoys biology and calculus, "but what I am truly passionate about is working as a research student in a neuroimmunology lab at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute."

On the field: In a 21-20 loss to Harvey, had nine receptions with 172 yards and a 56-yard touchdown.

Off the field: "My favorite sports memories are being able to spend time with my friends doing something we love and that I'll never forget." Works at his family's dairy farm in his free time. Also plays sports and spends time with his friends. Favorite subject is biology. Favorite food is chicken. Favorite team is Ohio State "because they're good at everything."

On the field: In a win over Lakewood, scored four touchdowns. Rushed for 103 yards and three TDs on 10 carries, and caught two passes for 26 yards and a TD.

Off the field: Also goes by "Sev" and "Cjaee." Favorite sport is football. Enjoys watching college and NFL games. Favorite teams are the Browns and Jets ("I'm an Aaron Rodgers fan"). Enjoys watching random football clips on YouTube. "My sophomore year in 2021 on junior varsity was one of my favorite football memories. I broke the JV touchdown record of 10, I had 15 touchdowns. Another one of my favorite football memories is winning my last high school football game with my brothers." Loves Chick-fil-A. Favorite movie is every Spider-Man movie ever made. Favorite show is "Danny Phantom." "In my free time I like to play Madden and Call Of Duty War Zone. I enjoy being with my little sister the most and traveling with my family. "

On the pitch: In a 2-1 Division I sectional final win in double overtime over Chardon, netted the match-winning goal as the Blue Streaks advanced.

Off the pitch: Nickname is "The Patriot." Favorite sports memory is beating Perry to win the CVC. Hobbies include fishing and hanging out with friends. Favorite food is Buffalo Wild Wings.

On the course: Finished in 10th at the Division Madison District in 16:14.41 to qualify for the regional meet

Off the course: Leroy Township resident is undecided on a college but will run cross country and track and field. Favorite sports memory is Riverside cross country's trip to Ohio Pyle this past summer for whitewater rafting and running. One of his favorite hobbies is target shooting. Loves any type of pasta. Favorite team is Ohio State. Loves listening to old country and classic rock.

On the court: In the two sectional games, had totals of 25 kills, four blocks and five serving aces. She had a 0.226 hitting percentage.

Off the court: Richmond Heights resident plans on playing volleyball in college. Is the only girl of five siblings. Favorite sports memories are spending time with with her teammates because they always have fun together. Enjoys writing, listening to music and occasionally singing. Favorite music is gospel and R&B.

On the pitch: Netted the match-winner in a 1-0 win over rival North. Also found the back of the net in a 3-2 Division I sectional semifinal double-overtime loss to Mayfield. Had 18 goals and five assists this season.

Off the pitch: Plans to play soccer in college. Favorite sports memory is going to the district semifinal round last year and scoring the match-winner against North. Loves Manchester United and also likes to watch the Browns, Cavaliers and Guardians.

On the field: In a win over Riverside, rushed nine times for 103 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-2. On defense, had four solo tackles, three passes broken up and an interception.

Off the field: "A.J." is going to the University of Pennsylvania to play college football. Favorite sports memory is winning the state championship with Chardon his sophomore year. Favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Favorite musical artist is G-Easy. Favorite class in school is history; Is a Denver Broncos fan.
