Former Indiana University center Joey Brunk is staying in the Big Ten, committing to play his final season at Ohio State. Brunk, an Indianapolis native, started his career at Butler under now-OSU coach Chris Holtmann. He redshirted that lone season under Holtmann as he dealt with the cancer diagnosis and eventual death of his father.
Look, if you need an explanation for why Ohio State’s starter is #1 on this list, I would like to welcome you to our site and to the sport of college football in general, and you need to understand that right now, Ohio State is in a position where an all-star team made up of the best players from the rest of the Big Ten could probably hang with them all the way into the fourth quarter.
Jacksonville Robert E. Lee five-star cornerback hasn’t said much since he committed to Ohio State in January over finalists Clemson, Florida and Georgia. Then again, how he’s performed on the 7-on-7 circuit this spring says everything for him. Opposing quarterbacks completely ignore Singletary’s side of the field, knowing very well that any pass thrown his way is begging to be returned for six the other way.
