Neemias Queta shares there’s been no suggestion of signing him to the open roster spot

Fans of the Boston Celtics were smitten when they landed Portuguese big man Neemias Queta as a two way player at the start of the 2023-24 NBA season. And for good reason, given how impactful the 7-footer can be on the basketball court. Now, at the end of the Celtics’ 2023-24 campaign, Queta has just a few remaining games of eligibility.

They also happen to have an open regular roster spot should they want to keep the Utah State alum around in future seasons. Especially given how they will need low-cost depth as their roster grows in expense over the next few seasons. CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning caught up with Queta about his season with Boston and the potentiality of nabbing that open roster spot.
