When will NC State women's basketball play in Elite 8? Wolfpack tip-off time announced
NC State women's basketball is still alive in March Madness. The Wolfpack clinched a berth in the Elite Eight with its win over Stanford on Friday night, but it was after the game when NC State found out when it will play its Elite Eight game.
NC State will play Texas on Sunday afternoon in Portland, Oregon. Tip-off is at 3 p.m. on ABC. The date of the game was known since the bracket was revealed, but the time wasn't announced until late Friday night, after the Longhorns defeated Gonzaga.
This will be the third Elite Eight appearance in program history as well as the second in the last three years. If the Wolfpack wins, this season will end in the second Final Four in program history as well as the first since 1998.
