NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ hanging on for road win vs. Thunder, 128-120

As they saw their 21-point lead quickly evaporate in the second half against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Golden State Warriors’ road issues looked like they were beginning to show on Monday night.

Once Oklahoma City cut Golden State’s advantage down to two points with 4:15 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Warriors answered the bell in the final minutes.

Late 3-pointers from Steph Curry and Jordan Poole paired with a strong stretch of defensive stops helped the Warriors close out the Thunder on the road down the stretch, 128-120.

Curry tallied a game-high 38 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field with eight-made triples to go along with 12 assists and eight boards in 37 minutes against the Thunder.

Klay Thompson added 28 points with six made triples of his own in 37 minutes.

Shain Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 21 points on 10-of-24 shooting from the field with seven assists, four rebounds and three blocks in 37 minutes. Four other members of the Thunder registered double-figures in scoring on Monday, but it wasn’t enough to seal a comeback win against the Warriors.

After the Warriors notched their third consecutive win, the NBA community on Twitter weighed-in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Monday night.
