NBA Twitter reacts to the Nets beating the Cavs, moving to 7th in the East

The race for playoff seeding in the Eastern Conference will go down to the final day of the regular season, but the Brooklyn Nets took control of the No. 7 seed with an eventful 118-107 win over the Cavaliers at the Barclays Center.

In a game of runs, the Nets dominated the first quarter 34-19, but the Cavs stormed back and had a five point lead entering the fourth. Patty Mills, Kevin Durant and Bruce Brown made key 3-pointers to help the Nets build a lead in the fourth, and Brooklyn won the final period 35-19.

The win moved the Nets to 43-38 on the season, tied with the Cavs on record, but ahead on the season series tiebreaker. The Hawks and Hornets, both 42-39, are only one game back.
