Nashville Predators' Dante Fabbro out 2-3 weeks with upper-body injury

The Nashville Predators announced Tuesday that defenseman Dante Fabbro will be out two to three weeks with an upper body injury.

Fabbro, who signed a one-year contract extension with the Predators last week, played just over three minutes against Minnesota on Sunday. He did not return after finishing his shift at the 5:20 mark of the 1st period.

Fabbro has played in 53 games for the Predators this season, scoring two goals and 10 assists. He's been paired with Roman Josi most of the season, averaging 16:17 minutes per game.

In a corresponding move, the Predators recalled defenseman Spencer Stastney from the Milwuakee Admirals (AHL).

Stastney has played 44 games for the Admirals this year, scoring five goals and 15 assists. He made his NHL debut on Apr. 1, 2022 against the St. Louis Blues, and has since played 17 games for the Predators.

Stastney join the Predators with the team in the middle of a season high 12 game point streak. They will look to make it 13 straight against the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday.
