Nashville area's high school volleyball top players at midseason

With the Tennessee high school volleyball season nearly a month old, several players have stood out in the Nashville area.

Here is a list of some of the top names through four weeks who could be player of the year candidates when season comes to a close in two months.

Note: Statistics provided by coaches.

Eliza McKnight, Brentwood: McKnight has 143 kills, three aces, 12 blocks and 22 digs in 13 games for the Lady Bruins.

Daisy Oatsvall, Brentwood: Oatsvall is averaging 4.3 kills a set. She has a total of 227 kills, nine aces, nine blocks, 41 block assists and 31 digs in 18 matches.

Keira Garinger, Clarksville: The sophomore outside hitter has 155 kills, 149 digs and 37 aces.

Ella Moore, Clarksville: Moore, a senior middle blocker, has 91 kills, 62 blocks, 17 aces and is hitting at a 51% kill ratio.

Katie Green, Father Ryan: Green has 91 kills, 125 digs, 10 blocks, 20 aces to lead the Lady Irish.

Dylann Garner, Franklin: The North Alabama commit has 196 kills, 124 digs, 32 aces, 11 blocks and had a season high 24 kills in a match against Page last week.

Alley Hibdon, Gallatin: Hibdon setter has 78 aces, 168 kills, 15 receptions, 17 blocks, 218 assists and 183 digs.

Gracie Hibdon, Gallatin: Gracie, a sophomore, right hitter has 70 aces, 232 kills, 27 receptions, 62 blocks, 185 assists and 198 digs.

Sarah Grace Slusher, Gallatin: Slusher is an outside hitter with 74 aces, 153 kills, 46 receptions, 17 blocks and 112 digs.

Emaline Cash, Harpeth Hall: A middle blocker, Cash averages 2.6 blocks per game, 6.7 kills, 2.16 serve rating.

Evie Frist, Harpeth Hall: The senior aveages 5.9 kills and 2.3 blocks per game.

Elia Dinsmore, Independence: Dinsmore has established herself as a top player in Middle Tennessee with 159 kills, 18 aces, 20 blocks, 122 digs and four assists.

Ally Weathers, Loretto: Weathers, a junior middle blocker, has 137 kills, 162 digs, 39 aces, 27 blocks and 41 assists.

Kate McClary, Nashville Christian: McClary is a senior libero who has 11 aces with 143 digs.

Kaira Knox, Nolensville: The junior right side hitter has played in 17 games and has 212 kills, 140 digs, 37 blocks and 19 aces.

Emma York, Northwest: York has 86 kills, eight blocks, 15 aces and 18 digs.

Tennyson Gorman, Page: The senior middle blocker has 102 kills, 69 blocks and 15 aces.

Sadie Kroeger, Providence Christian: The sophomore outside hitter has 157 kills, 132 digs, 34 aces, 20 blocks and 12 assists.

Lillie Meinhart, Providence Christian: Meinhart is a junior setter with 56 kills, 24 digs, 215 assists, 51 aces and 19 blocks.

McKenna Shotwell, Providence Christian: Shotwell has posted 202 kills, 165 digs, 38 aces, 12 blocks and 18 assists.

Adison Winterbauer, Rockvale: Winterbauer has racked up 150 kills, 30 aces and 35 digs.

Kierstan Blocker, Smyrna: Blocker has 53 kills, six aces, 43 digs and two blocks.

Katie Titus, Station Camp: The junior has 131 kills, 44 aces, 200 assists, 147 digs and 25 blocks.

Alex Chortyk, Summit: The senior has 245 kills, 25 blocks, 49 digs and 15 aces.

Abbott Crouthamal, Summit: Crouthamal, a senior, has 49 aces, 135 kills, 10 blocks and 196 digs.

Maggie Kalisz, Summit: Kalisz, a sophomore, has 209 kills, 25 aces, 29 blocks and 88 digs.

Karlee Hedin, Waverly: Hedin has 138 digs, 7 blocks, 215 assists, 79 aces and 100 kills.
