Nashville-area basketball Week 2 top performers: Ella Ryan goes for 30 points, 10 rebounds in Brentwood win

As we enter into the second week of high school basketball in the Nashville area, here is a look at this week's top performers.

Saturday

Boys basketball

Daniel Cochran, Brentwood: Cochran scored 27 points in Brentwood's game against Northeast.

Zy Granderson, Brentwood: Granderson added 12 points.

Jacob Amonett, Pickett County: Amonett had 23 points in a 69-34 win over Smith County.

Gage Harris, Pickett County: Harris finished with 15 points.

Girls basketball

Leilani Washington, Nolensville: Washington had 22 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 51-45 overtime loss to Webb School - Bell Buckle.

Sara Brakefield, Nolensville: Brakefield had 10 points, six rebounds and two steals.

Friday

Boys basketball

Daniel Cochran, Brentwood: Cochran had 27 points as Brentwood faced Upperman.

Jacob Purifoy, Brentwood: Purifoy added 11 points for the Bruins.

Daniel Bilbrey, Livingston Academy: Bilbrey had 11 points in a 78-46 loss to Providence Christian.

Cole Harris, Livingston Academy: Harris scored 13 points.

Tucker Miller, Livingston Academy: Miller had 11 points.

Jacob Amonett, Pickett County: Amonett had 18 points, 17 rebounds, nine assists and five steals in a 78-41 win over Jellico.

Nathaniel Cobb, Pickett County: Cobb scored 18 points.

Eli Reagan, Pickett County: Reagan had 17 points.

Judson Bjornstad, Providence Christian: Bjornstad had 16 points in a win over Livingston Academy.

Aiden Bolden, Providence Christian: Bolden scored 14 points.

Davis Joyner, Providence Christian: Joyner had 10 points.

Preston Wade, Providence Christian: Wade scored 14 points.

Girls basketball

Paige Morris, Brentwood: Morris had 20 points in a 64-44 win over Webb.

Ella Ryan, Brentwood: Ryan had 30 points and 10 rebounds.

Abi Alexander, Cannon County: Alexander had 15 points and five assists in a 75-50 win over Red Boiling Springs.

Jenna Bush, Cannon County: Bush had 13 points and eight rebounds.

Abbilyn Teter, Cannon County: Teter had 18 points, five assists and four rebounds.

Wednesday

Boys basketball

Arnez Anderson, Hillsboro: Anderson had 18 points in a 60-43 win over Centennial.

Cortez Graham-Howard, Hillsboro: Graham-Howard added 15 points.

Xavier Washington, Hillsboro: Washington finished with 10.

Girls basketball

Bethany Jackson, Central Magnet: Jackson finished with 13 points to help her team capture the Silverdale Thanksgiving Tournament championship in a 51-47 win over East Hamilton.

Addison Melton, Central Magnet: Melton put up 28 points and was named the tournament MVP.

Caydee Piplains, Giles County: Piplains had 19 points to lead Giles County in a 47-43 loss to Spring Hill.

Kiya Gibson, Giles County: Gibson added 12 in the loss.

Issie Hodge, Seigel: Hodge led the Stars with 15 points in a 48-37 loss to Summit.

Jasmine Sneed, Seigel: Sneed finished with 14 points.

Mariya Ramzy 19, Spring Hill: Ramzy had 19 points in Spring Hill's win over Giles County.

Bridget Allee, Summit: Allee had three 3-pointers on her way to 16 points in the win over Seigel.

Quinn Johnston, Summit: Johnston also had three 3-pointers and added 14 points.

Ava Krohl, Summit: Krohl led her team with four made 3's and had 14 points.

Tuesday

Boys basketball

Ethan Hillsman, Brentwood Academy: Hillsman had 12 points in a 85-69 win over Rossview.

Tyler Tanner, Brentwood Academy: Tanner led all scorers with 28 points.

Mason Brown, Central Magnet: Brown poured in 17 points but Central Magnet dropped its game to Green Hill, 70-35.

Jake Maddox, Central Magnet: Maddox added 11 points.

Kellen Howard, Clarksville: Howard led the Wildcats with 20 points but CHS fell to Northwest, 58-54.

Sheldon Huber, Clarksville: Huber added 11 points.

PJ Nyapal, East Nashville: Nyapal led East with 21 points but Cane Ridge knocked off East Nashville, 87-78.

Cortez Murphy, East Nashville: Murphy added 16 points in the loss.

Jaylen McMillan, East Nashville: McMillan added 12.

Maddie Brewer, Fairview: Brewer had six points, eight rebounds and four steals despite a 41-29 loss to Marshall County.

Colby Jones, Friendship Christian: Jones led the Commanders with 22 points in a 82-34 win over Liberty Creek.

Noah Major, Friendship Christian: Major finished with 21 points.

Kenny Ellis, Green Hill: Ellis had 14 points to lead Green Hill past Central Magnet.

Rex Harmon, Green Hill: Harmon added 12 points.

Antjuan Welch, Green Hill: Welch finished with 15 points.

Brayden Buck, Independence: Buck had 14 points to lead Indepedence to a 67-41 win over Ensworth.

Jett Montgomery, Independence: Montgomery had 25 points in the win.

Jaden Clark, Nolensville: Clark dropped 19 points in a 66-43 win over Dickson County.

Carter Hennigner, Nolensivlle: Hennigner added 11 points.

Ahmad Harvey, Northwest: Harvey finished with 18 points in the Vikings' win over Clarksville.

Tacarey Monday, Northwest: Monday led Northwest with 20 points.

JaQuez Scott, Northwest: Scott finished with 14 points.

Pablo Hernandez, Page: Hernandez had 11 points and seven rebounds as Page outlasted Tennessee Heat, 77-74.

Hunter Moss, Page: Moss added 20 points in the win.

Josh Spining, Page: Spining knocked down five 3-pointers and had 15 points.

Evan Gainer, Ravenwood: Gainer had 20 points in the Raptors' 64-46 win over Hickman County.

Rocco Lamuno, Ravenwood: Lamuno led the way with 23 points.

Jacob Edwards, Rossview: Edwards had 12 points and eight rebounds in the Hawks' loss to Brentwood Academy.

Landon Hankemeier, Rossview: Hankemeier finished with 21 points, six rebounds and three blocks.

Quamond Linsey, Rossview: Linsey added 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals.

Ayden Glenn, Zion Christian: Ayden had 29 points eight rebounds six assists and five steals in a 92-78 win over Middle Tennessee Christian.

Collin Kennedy, Zion Christian: Collin had 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and a block.

Landen Yates, Zion Christian: Landen a a double-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.

Abi Alexander, Cannon County: Alexander had 17 points, seven rebounds and six steals in a 69-32 win over FC Boyd Christian.

Jenna Bush, Cannon County: Bush added 13 points and five rebounds.

Clara Johnson, Central Magnet: Johnson finished with 11 points in a 51-17 win over Tyner.

Addison Melton, Central Magnet: Melton also had 11 points.

Imari Berry, Clarksville: Berry had 24 points as CHS picked up a 55-22 win over Northwest.

Malon Smith, Clarksville: Smith finished with 12 points.

Malaya Woullard, Clarksville Academy: Woullard led the Lady Cougars with six 3-pointers and 27 points in a 59-46 loss to Rossview.

Tionna Davis, Columbia: Davis had 13 points as Columbia knocked off Summit, 48-38.

Saviya Morgan, Columbia: Morgan led Columbia with 22 points.

Tatum Henry, Davidson Academy: Henry finished with 11 points, seven steals, four assists and two rebounds in a 38-31 win over University School of Nashville.

Molly Suggs, Davidson Academy: Suggs added 10 points, six rebounds and two steals.

Ruby Cox, East Hickman: Cox had 10 points as East Hickman dropped Spring Hill, 53-44.

Hillary Harris, East Hickman: Harris had 16 points.

Taylor Holt, East Hickman: Holt also finished with 16 points.

Ida Bernard, East Robertson: Bernard finished with 20 points and five rebounds in a 69-52 win over McEwen.

Allye Pennington, East Robertson: Pennington had 29 points and five rebounds with four assists.

Izzy Gavigan, Father Ryan: Gavigan had 19 points in Father Ryan's 44-21 win over MTCS and added 12 points in a 54-15 win over Kenwood.

Olivia McWright, Father Ryan: McWright had 11 points each against MTCS and Kenwood.

Ella Johnson, FRA: Johnson had 21 points in a 63-24 win over St. Cecilia.

Ava Zenner, FRA: Zenner added 17 points.

Olivia Galloway, Nolensville: Galloway hit a trio of 3-pointers and finished with 17 points as Nolensville beat Dickson County, 66-30.

Reese Mall, Nolensville: Mall had a pair of 3's and had 12 points.

Leilani Washington, Nolensville: Washington finished with 14 points and five assists.

Dyna'c Davis, Pearl-Cohn: Davis had four 3-pointers and scored 22 points as the Lady Firebirds rolled to a 52-44 win over Independence.

Erianna Thomas, Pearl-Cohn: Thomas finished with 13 points.

Mariya Ramzy, Spring Hill: Ramzy finished with game-high 22 points in the loss to East Hickman.

JC Brashear, Spring Hill: Brashear finished with 11 points.

Quinn Johnston, Summit: Johnston finished with 12 points in the 48-38 loss to Columbia.

Tarek Scherr, Summit: Scherr finished with 11.

Monday

Boys basketball

Joseph Burckel, Franklin Classical: Burckel tied a game-high 14 points for Franklin in a 60-52 win over Liberty Creek.

Josiah Hubbard, Franklin Classical: Hubbard also finished with 14 points.

Dylan Lano, Franklin Classical: Lano had 12 points for the Admirals.

Liam McConnell, Franklin Classical: McConnell finished with 12 points.

Kenny Ellis, Green Hill: Ellis dominated in Green Hill's 66-47 win over Ensworth with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Antjuan Welch, Green Hill: Welch also finished with 19 points.

Arnez Anderson, Hillsboro: Anderson had 13 points to help the Burros knock off Franklin, 67-55.

Tyren Fishet, Hillsboro: Fishet had 11 points for the Burros.

Cortez Graham-Howard, Hillsboro: Graham-Howard knocked down five 3-pointers in a 24-point performance.

Jackson Charpentier, Liberty Creek: Charpentier had 10 points for the Wolves in its loss to Franklin.

Auden Slaughter, Santa Fe: Slaughter led his team with 31 points in a 51-45 win over Eagleville.

Addie King, Cannon County: King finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Abbilyn Teter, Cannon County: Teter added 13 [points.

Brilee Price, Ezell-Harding: Price had 13 points in Ezell-Harding's 57-36 win over Columbia Academy.

Aryanna Ridgeway, Ezell-Harding: Ridgeway finished with 11 points.

Reghan Williams, Ezell-Harding: Williams led Ezell-Harding with 14 points.

Mattie Johnson, Harpeth: Johnson finished with 14 points to lead Harpeth in a 69-44 loss to Creek Wood.
