Should NASCAR move the Clash at the Coliseum back to Daytona? Should it stay in LA? Vote!

Well, that was certainly eventful.

The Clash at the Coliseum moved up a full day per an afternoon decision from NASCAR. That's right, if you nodded off after a big lunch, you likely missed the whole thing and never knew.

As for the race, well, it looked a lot like the first two Clashes in Los Angeles, full of beating, banging and post-race tempers. We may have a few budding feuds already this season in Joey Logano vs. Ty Gibbs, Ross Chastain vs. Tyler Reddick and Michael McDowell vs. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. just to name a few.

The race was also notable for being Kevin Harvick's first broadcast in the Fox booth as a full-time member of the team. Oh yeah, and Denny Hamlin won and is still better than your favorite driver.

KEVIN HARVICK: 'Happy' talks broadcasting, IROC, Rolex and which NASCAR driver would win a fight?

CHASE ELLIOTT AT NEW SMYRNA: William Clyde in the Clyde Hart? Yep. Chase Elliott will race at New Smyrna on Feb. 13.

For the third year, NASCAR's preseason Clash was held at the Coliseum in Los Angeles. Is it time for a change?

If you like closed-quarters, mosh-pit, free-for-all chaos, then you likely enjoyed yesterday's race, assuming you got word in time to have your TV set to FS1 by 8 p.m. last night. But, as always with NASCAR, there were plenty of detractors.

The event was held at Daytona International Speedway every year from 1979-2021 as part of Speedweeks. But for the last three years, Los Angeles has been the preseason kick-off's home.

So, for the first time in 2024, we come to you. Where should the Clash be held in 2025? You tell us!

Should it come back to Daytona? Should it stay in LA? Should it rotate between current NASCAR tracks? Or maybe, a quarter-mile track could be set up in other famous stadiums around the country.

Or maybe you have a different idea altogether. In that case, as always, please email your suggestions to rpritt@gannett.com and we will run a few of our favorites with next week's poll. You may vote up to once per hour until the poll closes next Sunday.
