Montrezl Harrell out for Sixers vs. Cavaliers due to intercostal strain
The Philadelphia 76ers will get set to continue their preseason schedule on Monday when they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road and they will be down two big men in the matchup.
Joel Embiid did not travel with the team to Cleveland as he is taking the night off in the exhibition schedule. The big fella is healthy, but he’s just not playing on Monday.
Now, the Sixers will be another big man in veteran addition Montrezl Harrell. The energetic sparkplug out of Louisville has been dealing with an intercostal strain and has been considered day-to-day. He will be out against the Cavs on Monday.

With both Embiid and Harrell out, this puts all the attention squarely on Paul Reed as he looks to continue to nail down a rotation spot for the Sixers. He and PJ Tucker figure to get a long look in the backup center battle in this contest.
Tipoff from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is set for 7 p.m. EDT.
