MLS kits: FC Cincinnati unveils 'Canvas Kit' ahead of 2024 season

FC Cincinnati's newest look is revealed and available for purchase.

During a Friday event at ADC Fine Art in West End, FC Cincinnati unveiled its "Canvas Kit," a new Adidas jersey revealed as part of the club's two-year cycle for its jerseys. FCC unveiled the shirt during a days-long flurry of kit reveals from each MLS club across the league, which has become an anticipated preseason activity in domestic soccer.

The off-white-colored Canvas Kit, which features orange and blue accents, replaces the club's popular, orange Juncta Juvant top, which cycled out after two seasons of use (2022-2023). The new shirt will be used in 2024 and 2025. Its lifespan in use by the team will run parallel to the club's primarily-blue River Kit in 2024 until the River Kit is replaced with a new shirt in 2025.

More on the Canvas Kit from FC Cincinnati's news release: "The Canvas Kit was inspired by the diverse and thriving art community found in Cincinnati. The jerseys represent all the creatives, dreamers and superfans that make the Queen City special. On the pitch, FC Cincinnati do not just play, they create. And off the pitch, those who wear this kit are artists, leaving their mark on Cincinnati’s story. In blank spaces, inspiration thrives and magic happens.

"This is not just a kit; it's a vibe, a rhythm, an expression, a lifestyle, a canvas waiting for each of us to write our own story and leave our own mark.

"The chalk white-colored kit will be the first primarily white kit worn by FC Cincinnati since 2021. The FC Cincinnati crest is above the left hem, while the adidas logo is above the right hem and primary sponsor Mercy Health is in the center of the jersey in orange. The kit features adidas’ iconic 3-Stripes design in blue, outlined in orange, on both shoulders.

"Taking inspiration from the artistic story that drives the 2024 Canvas Kit, each individual kit has a unique patterned orange and blue design trimming the sleeves, side panels and neck. The ‘All For Cincy’ jock tag brings a splash of energy from a paint drop hitting the canvas while a brush stroke on the back of the neck reads ‘Make Your Mark,’ encouraging each who wears the kit to be unique, creative and to tell their own story.

"The uniquely-patterned orange and blue design trims the shorts and bottom of the jersey, while the blue 3-Stripes outlined in orange feature on the white shorts and socks."
