Mizzou commit, a three-star defensive end, is offered by USC

Three-star defensive end Elias Williams has officially been offered by USC football.

The Hudson, Florida, native chose Missouri over Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, Miami, UCF, Tennessee among many others. USC still wants to show that it is interested in Williams as a prospect. The Trojans can definitely use all the pass rushing help they can possibly gather.

In the 2023 high school season, Williams has had 51 tackles (13.5 for loss), 2 forced fumbles, 7 sacks and 29 quarterback hurries in 7 games.

The 6-foot-4 and 270-pound edge rusher is versatile and projects to play inside at the next level with his size and strength.

Williams is ranked No. 61 as an edge rusher and the 115th-best prospect in Florida, according to 247Sports.

With USC’s recent struggles, time will only tell if the Trojans can land the defensive players they have been recently offering. Missouri is currently ranked higher than USC and has a better overall record than the Trojans in one of the best coaching jobs of the year by Eli Drinkwitz.

Lincoln Riley did not assemble an elite 2023 roster, which surprised us and a lot of other observers.

Brent Venables is coaching Oklahoma far better this year than Lincoln Riley is coaching USC. It’s up to Riley to change that reality.
