Missouri softball live score updates vs Duke in NCAA Columbia Super Regional opener
The Tigers have reached the final hurdle on the road to Oklahoma City.
No. 7 national seed Missouri softball will face No. 10 Duke in the NCAA Columbia Super Regional beginning Friday at Mizzou Softball Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. The winner of the potentially three-game series will head to OKC to compete in the Women’s College World Series.
Mizzou, which advanced through its home regional by eliminating Indiana, Washington and Omaha, is playing for its first berth to the WCWS since 2011. The Tigers, coached by Larissa Anderson, are playing their first super regional since 2021.
Duke won the ACC Tournament championship this season and knocked off Morgan State and South Carolina in back-to-back games to sweep the NCAA Durham Regional. The Blue Devils, who played their first season in 2018, are searching for their first trip to Oklahoma City for the WCWS.
