STARKVILLE — Mississippi State baseball is back at Dudy Noble Field on Friday looking to clinch a series win against Mount St. Mary's.

The Bulldogs (6-4) have won their last three, capped by a 12-2 series-opening win against the Mountaineers on Thursday. Right-handed starter Nate Dohm pitched a gem for MSU in the victory, allowing only one run in six innings of work. Through three starts this season, Dohm has allowed two earned runs while striking out 22.

Four Bulldogs recorded multiple runs batted in, including first baseman Hunter Hines who had three. Outfielder Connor Hujsak, who didn't start the game, finished with a pair of doubles. Lead-off hitter Amani Larry collected four walks.

Mount St. Mary's (1-7) is off to a rough start. The Mountaineers' lone win came on Feb. 17 against Norfolk State. MSU is looking to stack wins together before facing Southern Miss on Tuesday. The Bulldogs and Golden Eagles will meet at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi.
