Jankowski leads the Admirals in points this year with 47 (third in the AHL), and left-winger Egor Afanasyev has 42, but he was also recalled by the Predators on Feb. 12. Center Fedor Svechkov has 33 points to lead those on the current roster, followed by 31 from L'Heureux.

Foudy only has 12 points but he's done it in just 19 games.

Askarov allows just 2.12 goals per game in his 27 contests, ranking third among qualified AHL goalies, and Grosenick allows 2.34 in 19 games.

Where does the Milwaukee Admirals streak rank among longest winning streaks in Wisconsin sports?

The Milwaukee Bucks franchise-record winning streak of 20 games marked an NBA record in 1971, when Milwaukee was on its way to winning the NBA title. That streak was quickly obliterated by the Los Angeles Lakers (and ended by the Bucks at 33 games during the 1971-72 season).

The Bucks more recently won 18 straight games in 2019.

The Packers won 13 straight games to open the 2011 season and can technically consider that a streak of 19 wins, including four playoff games to close the 2010 season (including the Super Bowl) and two regular-season victories to finish 2010.

The Brewers famously won 13 games in a row to open the 1987 season, a streak that technically dates to the end of the 1986 season and thus represents a 16-game run over two seasons.

The win-loss records have four numbers; what do those all mean?

In the hockey standings, you'll see records with four numbers instead of a traditional win/loss ledger; the Ads, for example, are 34-10-1-0. The wins all count the same regardless of when they happen (and are worth two points in the point totals), and the next number is regulation losses. The next numbers (overtime losses and shootout losses) will still yield your team one point in the standings. If nobody breaks the tie in the sudden-death overtime period (5 minutes of 3-on-3 hockey — plus a goalie), the teams head to a shootout.

When are the Calder Cup playoffs and have the Admirals won the title before?

The regular season in the AHL runs through April 21, with the Calder Cup playoffs to follow. Last year, 23 teams made the playoffs, which features a series of first-round byes depending on divisional alignment.

Last year, the Admirals lost to Coachella Valley in the Western Conference Finals, 4-2, falling one step short of the Calder Cup Finals.

The Admirals won their first and only Calder Cup title in 2004. They made the Calder Cup Finals two years later and fell to the Hershey Bears.
