Miller's Martinez, Falfurrias' Sanchez voted Caller-Times midseason basketball MVPs

The high school basketball playoffs are less than a month away and several players have established themselves as some of the top players in the Coastal Bend.

After thousands of votes were cast this week, readers selected Miller's Hailey Martinez and Falfurrias' Quisto Sanchez as their choice for the Caller-Times Midseason Most Valuable Player award.

Martinez earned 67,821 votes, which was 39% of the 175,568 votes cast.

Sanchez earned 35,123 votes (33%) of the 105,439 votes cast.
