Milestone markers: South Shore high school top performers for the first week of spring

The high school spring sports season is underway.

After a couple weeks of tryouts and practices, the games have begun. Lacrosse, baseball, softball, rugby, outdoor track and field, tennis, girls golf and boys volleyball make up the action.

Already in the early goings of the spring, some career milestones have been reached. Girls lacrosse players Eva Kelliher (100th point at Hanover) and Emily Keefe (100th goal at Bridgewater-Raynham) have hit the century mark for their careers. Abington's Hunter Grafton and Jonny Halpin hit the 300 and 200 career point marks, respectively, on Tuesday.

Saturday, April 6

SOFTBALL

Abby Hanna (two hits, double), Noey Giardina (triple) and Mckenzie Foley (two runs, single, walk) got Hanover's offense humming in a 6-3 win over Notre Dame Academy. Sophomore pitcher Talia Beer struck out six and allowed five hits in the win.

Talia Faria (two hits, run, 3 RBIs), Madi Delano ( three hits, double), Olivia Roy (2-RBI triple) and Ava Selter (2-RBI double) Bridgewater-Raynham to a 10-5 win over Plymouth North. Delano recorded the win in the circle (seven hits, four strikeouts and three earned runs).

BASEBALL

Pitcher James Sheedy struck out seven, allowed two hits and didn't surrender an earned run in four innings to lead West Bridgewater to a 13-3 win over Hull. Ryan Nunes (2-for-3, 4 RBI), Nick Navin (2-for-3, 2 RBI), Jag Garces (2-for-3), Brayden Ross (2-for-3) and Sheedy (2-for-4, RBI) shined offensively for the Wildcats.

Jack Haley (two hits, 2 RBI) led Bridgewater-Raynham to an 11-1 win over Whitman-Hanson. Dan Joyce stole home to tally the Panthers' lone run.

BOYS LACROSSE

Connor McCarthy (two goals, two assists), Luke Tropeano (two goals, one assist), Joe Concannon (one goal), Finn Olszewski (one goal, one assist) found the back of the net in Whitman-Hanson's 16-6 defeat to Falmouth. Brian Nash collected 11 ground balls and senior goalie David MacNeil made 15 saves for the Panthers.

Duxbury 15, St. Joseph's (CT) 8.

Friday, April 5

GIRLS LACROSSE

Cardinal Spellman's Erin O'Donnell had a hat trick, including her 100th career goal, in an 18-8 loss to Ursuline Academy. Elle Murphy and Devyn DuBose each added a pair of goals for the Cardinals.

Hingham's Caroline Connolly (3 goals, assist, 2 draw controls) reached 100 career points in a 12-11 loss to Westwood. Grace Maroney (4 goals, assist, 4 draw controls) and Madeline Packard (goal, assist, 5 draw controls) also starred for the Harborwomen.

Norwell's Danielle Cox had 5 goals and 4 draw controls in an 11-3 win over Scituate. Lexi Davos (4 goals, 3 draw controls) and goalie Charlotte Pithie (7 saves) also starred for the Clippers (2-1).

South Shore Tech's Sofia Grasso had a pair of goals and an assist in a 6-5 win over Rockland. Peyton Mathisen, Kayla Nota, Sophie Bovill and Liliana Berquist also scored for the Vikings (3-0). Rockland's Madi Dever scored twice, and Molly Lucas, Mia Radzik, Molly McCrorey added goals.

Marshfield's Julia O’Brien scored in OT to give the Rams an 11-10 win over Falmouth.

Plymouth North's Stella Kirkpatrick (4 goals, assist), Addison Pyy (3 goals, 6 assists) and Taylor Curtis (2 goals) starred in a 9-8 win over Old Rochester Regional.

Pembroke's Bella DiPrizio scored 4 goals, and Maggie O'Malley and Allison Linscott each added hat tricks in a 23-2 win over East Bridgewater.

Braintree goalie Norah Downey made 7 saves in a 13-6 win over Newton North.

North Quincy's Autumn O'Campos scored her 100th career goal in a 15-5 loss to Quincy.

BOYS LACROSSE

Middleboro's Wyatt Goyette had 2 goals and an assist in a 7-5 loss to Dartmouth. Jack Kavaleski, Ayden Fernandes and Aidan Gallant added goals for the Sachems (3-1).

Pembroke's Brandon Perry and Brenden Kanya each scored 4 goals in a 14-6 win over Archbishop Williams.

Scituate's Owen Hofford scored 4 goals in a 10-6 win over Silver Lake. Dolan Floyd added his first varsity goal.

Southeastern's Brendan Cooper scored twice, and Chris Hill notched his first career goal in a 6-5 loss to Bristol-Plymouth. Peyton Volz (goal), Owen Ready (7 faceoff wins) and Jacob Gillis (9 saves) also starred for the Hawks.

Thayer Academy 9, St. Mark's 4.

BASEBALL

Bridgewater-Raynham's Jack Haley earned the win in relief, allowing no earned runs over 2.1 innings, and also was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in a 9-5 victory over Mansfield. Tyler Cattoggio (2-for-4, double, RBI), Jack Ritchie (4.2 innings pitched, 6 strikeouts, 2-for-4, RBI) and Connor Nichols (1-for-4, 2 RBIs) also starred.

East Bridgewater's Jaden Lovell earned the win, striking out 8 over 6 innings, in a 3-0 victory over Middleboro. Collin Meserve had his first varsity hit, a 2-run homer in the sixth inning. Jared Hadiman got the save, pitching a scoreless seventh inning.

Carver's Nathan Dirado took the complete-game loss, allowing 7 hits with 2 strikeouts, and drove in the lone run as the Crusaders fell to Sharon, 2-1. Tyler Lennox had a double.

Southeastern pitchers Nick Sturdevant (8 strikeouts, 1 hit) and Darren Spencer (win, 4 strikeouts, 1 hit) starred in a 3-1 victory over Stoughton. Catcher Joseph Tully had a hit and an RBI.

Norwell's Ky Princi got the win, allowing an earned run over 6 innings with 7 strikeouts, in a 13-2 road victory over Falmouth. Eli Walsh had three hits, including a triple, and Princi had a pair of hits.

Plymouth South's Colin Ducie pitched a complete-game 3-hitter with 12 strikeouts and also was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs in a 9-1 season-opening win over Nauset. Jayson Ruehs was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs, and Brad Leonard, Landon Medeiros and Joe Rogan each drove in a run.

Avon seventh-grader Robert Rose got his first varsity hit in a 13-3 loss to Wareham. The Panthers are 1-1.

Cohasset's Luc Lefevre struck out 10 in a 2-0 win over Mashpee.

SOFTBALL

Norwell's Alaina McGraw, Evelyn Sim and Penny Saich each went 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs in a 12-0 win over Rockland. Abby Greene was 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Clippers, and pitcher Lindsay Stull struck out 7.

Archbishop Williams' Ciara McMenamin was 4-for-4 with 3 RBIs in a 20-2 win over Boston Latin Academy. Monica Kelley hit her first home run for the Bishops (2-0), and Jill Ondrick (2-0) got the victory in the circle.

South Shore Tech's Mia Bradshaw was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a triple and 3 RBIs, but the Vikings lost their season opener to to Norfolk Aggie in the bottom of the seventh, 12-11. Freshman Kaylee Gamache also went 3-for-5 with 2 doubles, a triple and 4 RBIs. Hannah Dailey had 2 strikeouts in the circle.

Cardinal Spellman's Taylor Dolan struck out 15 while scattering 6 hits in a 9-2 road win over Ursuline Academy. Hayley Dennis had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Cardinals(1-1), and Colleen Koshulsky and Kiley Dolan each doubled and knocked in 2 runs. Norah Shevalier had her first varsity hit.

Oliver Ames' Taylor Marino pitched a complete game, allowing 1 earned run with 6 strikeouts and 7 hits, in a 6-2 loss to Walpole. Devon Morris (1-for-3, RBI), Crystyliah Covel (1-for-4, run) and Sammy Johnson (1-for-1) had doubles. Ava Travis drove in a run.

Fontbonne Academy's Ava Donaghue hit a 3-run home run in a 16-9 win over Blue Hills. Penelope Ortiz (4 runs), Rebecca Tse (2 runs) and Haley Labrador (2 hits) also starred for the Ducks (2-0).

GIRLS TENNIS

Plymouth South got singles wins from No. 1 Elizabeth Nyberg, No. 2 Lauren Burgess and No. 3 Anna Lanning in a 5-0 victory over Dennis-Yarmouth. South also swept the doubles with the teams of Ashleigh Blaisdell/Keira Maloney (No. 1) and Lexi Kneeland/Steven Quinn (No. 2).

Archbishop Williams lost, 3-2, to Malden Catholic, getting wins from No. 3 singles player Reese Durfee and the No. 2 doubles team of Bella Buonopane and Grace York.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD

Bridgewater-Raynham's Amin Abassi won the javelin and discus, and Jack Hannigan won the triple jump and 400 meters in a 120-16 season-opening victory over New Bedford. Other winners for B-R: Kauan Bento (100m), Joey Manning (200m), Malik Washburn (110m hurdles), Connor Johnson (400m hurdles), Dan Leet (800m), Cole Bridges (mile), Ben Chase (2-mile), Bryce Sullivan-Evans (shot put) and Carl Plasir (long jump). The Trojans also won the 4x100m relay (Manning, Evan Bray, Johnson, Bento) and the 4x400m relay (Leet, Ryan Hall, Riley Frisch, Bridges).

Whitman-Hanson's Alex Kehayias won the mile (5:16.8) and 2-mile (11:29.0) in a 72-55 season-opening loss against Silver Lake. Jake Cappelletti won the 110m hurdles (:17.8) and the triple jump (40-2.5), and Derek Olson won the 400m (:56.0).

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD

Whitman-Hanson got individual wins from six different athletes in a season-opening 74-53 loss to Silver Lake -- Lynn McCoy (800m, 2:56), Sky Anderson (mile, 6:01), McKenna McCarthy (2-mile, 13:05), Willa McKay (400m, 1:09.9), Molly Burnette (200m, :29.73) and Kate Silva (triple jump, 27-5).

BOYS RUGBY

Weymouth opened its season with a 17-12 road win over Belmont, the two-time defending Div. 1 state champion.

Thursday, April 4

BOYS LACROSSE

Stoughton lost to Franklin, 20-0.

Abington's Hunter Grafton (4 goals, 8 assists) scored his 200th goal in a 19-6 win over Mashpee. Michael Grafton had a goal and five assists. Jonathan Halpin had a hat trick.

Ryan Jaco and Alex McAndrew each had two goals, but Oliver Ames lost to Attleboro, 7-5.

Sandwich defeated Rockland, 9-2.

Jack Kavaleski scored six goals, and had an assist, in Middleboro's 12-10 win over Dighton-Rehoboth. Jackson Rowell (3 goals) and Wyatt Goyette (2 goals, assist) each had three points for the undefeated Sachems (3-0).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Oliver Ames had five different goal scorers in a 17-5 loss to Attleboro.

Notre Dame Academy defeated Duxbury, 15-2.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Brockton defeated Quincy, 3-0.

Deon Li had 31 assists in Braintree's 3-0 loss to Newton North. Jack Godderis and Justin Liu each had 5 kills.

BOYS TENNIS

Weymouth defeated Quincy, 4-1.

Wednesday, April 3

BOYS LACROSSE

Cohasset senior midfielder Liam Appleton (3 goals, 3 assists), junior attack Shane Mulcahy (3 goals, assist) and sophomore Gus Greene (2 goals, 2 assists) led the Skippers to a 13-6 season-opening win over Barnstable. Declan Lee starred defensively, goalie Lincoln Pattison made 10 saves, and Henry Burke won 15 of 23 faceoffs for Cohasset.Whitman-Hanson goalie David MacNeil (12 saves) starred in an 11-4 win over Quincy/North Quincy. Joe Concannon had a hat trick for the Panthers, and Connor McCarthy and Luke Tropeano each scored twice.

Plymouth South 4, Pembroke 2.

Hanover 6, Plymouth North 5 (OT).

GIRLS LACROSSE

Thayer's Hattie DiBattista scored 4 goals, and Sophie Stone and Coco Hauck added 2 each in a 10-8 win over Governor's Academy. Elise Landry added a goal and 4 assists, and Tess Van Ogtrop scored and won 13 of 15 draws.

Tuesday, April 2

BASEBALL

Weymouth's Andrew Daley went 3-for-4 with a homer and double to drive in three RBIs during a 12-0 win over North Quincy. Alex Munchbach (3-for-3, home run, double), Jack Reyes (5.1 innings pitched, one hit, eight strikeouts) and Gill Dolan (three runs, two stolen bases, 2 RBIs) also shined in the Wildcats' win. For NQ, Charlie Baker had a hit and a stolen base, and reliever Aidan McCarthy allowed a run over 3 innings.

Whitman-Hanson's Ryan Baker relinquished just one hit in four innings of work as the Panthers earned a 4-1 win over Brockton. David McNaught also surrendered one hit, and struck out two in a relief appearance. Jacob Getchell recorded two hits and one RBI in the win, and Dan Joyce hit a two-RBI double. Brockton's Cody Lambert recorded two hits.

Norwell's Liam Shephard (2-for-3, double, walk, two runs) and Colin McCarthy (complete game, seven strikeouts, two earned runs) led the Clippers to a 5-4 victory over Abington. Eli Walsh also had two hits for Norwell.

Hull's Luke Dunham was 2-for-5 with a double and a triple as the Pirates used a seven-run sixth inning to rally for a 12-7 road win over Holbrook. John Reynolds (3-for-4, double, walk) and Nick Tiani (1-for-3, walk, hit by pitch) also starred offensively, and Max McEachern earned the win, allowing two runs over 3 innings with 4 strikeouts.

Quincy 11, Charlestown 1.

Durfee 13, Middleboro 3.

SOFTBALL

Seventh-grade catcher Alanna Fidalgo went 3-for-3 with an RBI as West Bridgewater defeated Rockland, 4-1.

Abington defeated Pembroke, 6-1, behind the efforts of pitcher Elsie Testa (one earned run, six hits, five strikeouts, two walks; 2-for-4, RBI, two runs scored), Ava DiPietro (double, two RBIs, run), Kasie Bailey (2-for-4, RBI), Malia Goldberg (RBI) and Maddie McDonald (RBI).

Notre Dame Academy's Shannon Macleod threw a complete-game 2-hitter with 16 strikeouts and was 4-for-5 at the plate with a double and 5 RBIs in a 12-1 win over Whitman-Hanson. NDA's Claire Ferrara went 3-for-5 with a double. Victoria Sheehan and Sam Casey had Whitman-Hanson's hits.

The cast of Anna Lehan, Jess Wright, Kailyn Durham, Chloe Guerschuny, Laura Valkanas, and Delaney Clegg each recorded multiple hits for Canton in an 18-5 win over Sharon. Shannon Lane and Reilly MacEachern pitched well in the win. The team tallied 16 hits.

Cohasset 17, Carver 3.

BOYS LACROSSE

Abington's Hunter Grafton and Jonny Halpin hit the 300 and 200 career point marks, respectively, in the Green Wave's 16-3 win over East Bridgewater. Grafton recorded five goals and five assists; Halpin had two goals. Sean Ludlam scored the first goal of his career in the win. Grafton is believed to be the first player in program history to reach 300 career points. He's also a 100-point scorer for the hockey team.

Middleboro's Jack Kavaleski (4 goals, 2 assists), Ayden Fernandes (2 goals), Jackson Rowell (1 goal, 1 assist) and Aidan Gallant (1 goal, 1 assist) played well in an 8-6 win over Hull.

Canton's Colin Blake (three goals), Dillon Albert (two goals), Cullen O'Brien (two goals) and Brendan Tourgee (four assists) shined in a 7-5 victory over Milford.

Stoughton's Sean Rockwood had both goals, assisted by Jack Carr, in an 18-2 loss to Mansfield.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Cardinal Spellman's Elle Murphy scored seven goals, and Grace Foster and Erin O’Donnell added three apiece in a 15-14 overtime loss to Bishop Stang.

Oliver Ames' Taylor McAndrew, Kayla Magit and Kayla Isleib each scored four goals to lead a 19-11 win over Taunton. Rachel Reardon and Erin Cottam had two assists apiece. Olivia Magee also played well.

Megan Doyle finished with four points, six draw controls, and five caused turnovers as Weymouth defeated Norwell, 7-6. Also in the win, Kendall Rogers had three points, Maddie Taylor had with two and Lily Krawciw had one. Goalie Lauren Byrne made seven saves in the win. For Norwell, Charlise Cox had three goals and the trio of Holly Panttila, Natasha Mikus and Margot Bonnevie each had one.

East Bridgewater's Lilia Fagundes (two goals) and Ava Mavilia (one goal) played well despite a 10-3 loss to Abington.

Whitman-Hanson's Bailey Kelly and Shannon Balfe each scored twice, and Liv Godwin made 12 saves in a 9-4 win over North Quincy. Lily O’Donnell, Andrea Mulligan, Eva Nunes, Abby Nash and Maddy Geagan also scored for the Panthers (2-0).

BOYS TRACK & FIELD

Canton's Mo Arugollu won the 400-meter hurdles (:64.3), long jump (19-1) and triple jump (36-0) in leading the Bulldogs to an 83-53 win over Foxboro. Canton swept the 100m with JJ Faulk (:11.3), Zach Sanon (:11.9) and Kareem Chaplin II (:12.0). Also, Luke Darling won the 2 mile and was second in the mile (4:58), and Christian Hanlon won the 200m (:24.8) and was second in the long jump (18-10).

GIRLS TENNIS

Notre Dame Academy got singles wins from Sophia Lirio and Vivienne LaGrassa in a 4-1 win over Marshfield. NDA also swept the doubles with the teams of Clara Healey/Skye Bunge and Gabi Marchione/Lily Studebaker.

Monday, April 1

GIRLS LACROSSE

Peyton Mathisen scored five goals and had an assist in South Shore Tech's 11-3 win over Southeastern. Lilliana Berquist added two goals and an assist.

Braintree defeated Bridgewater-Raynham, 17-5, as Callie Burchill (6 goals, 7 assists, 8 draw controls) tallied her 200th career point. Bella Duffy (4 goals, assist) and Ava MacDonald (2 goals, 3 assists) both had 5 points. Emily Keefe and Emily Long each scored two goals for the Trojans.

Canton defeated Milford, 17-1.

Plymouth North defeated Dartmouth, 14-10, as Addie Pyy (8 goals, 3 assists) tallied her 100th career goal.

Quincy defeated Cambridge Rindge & Latin, 14-2, as coach Grace Connerty picked up her first win.

BOYS LACROSSE

Matt Whittaker and Gavin Ronan each scored two goals in Cardinal Spellman's 16-4 loss to Bishop Stang.

Plymouth North defeated Dartmouth, 7-5.

Brendan Kanya had two goals and two assists in Pembroke's 8-5 win over Rockland.

South Shore Tech defeated Southeastern, 8-7. Jacob Gillis played well in goal in the loss while Brendan Cooper had five goals.

Freshman Lucas Gangi had four goals and an assist in Oliver Ames' 10-2 win over Taunton.

Quincy/North Quincy defeated Cambridge Rindge & Latin, 18-10.

Jack Kavaleski had seven points (5 goals, 2 assists) in Middleboro's 16-2 win over New Bedford. Jackson Rowell and Wyatt Goyette (3 assists) each had hat tricks.

Quincy/North Quincy defeated Brockton, 17-1.

Plymouth North defeated Hingham, 8-2. Bella Piekarski had three hits and two RBIs.

Behind a 15-hit day, Abington defeated Braintree, 8-0. Elsie Testa fired a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and also went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Brenna Howley went 4-for-5 while Ava Dipietro doubled, tripled and scored two runs Kasie Bailey had three hits and Calli Pineau and Riley Agnew each had two RBIs. Jess Blyth had two hits, including a double and an RBI.

Brianna LaGrange had two hits and drew two walks, but West Bridgewater lost to Diman, 8-3.

Whitman-Hanson catcher Erin Cooke threw out runners attempting to steal, but the Panthers lost to Pembroke, 7-4. Emmy Didomineco broke the game open with a bases-clearing single in the seventh inning for the Titans while Kelly McGee struck out 12.

Archbishop Williams defeated Boston Latin Academy, 15-0, as Jill Ondrick struck out 15 batters in a one-hit effort. Ondrick and Alyssa Burke belted back-to-back home runs.

Jess Wright, Sam Grady, and Anna Lehan each had two hits in Canton's 8-6 loss to North Attleboro.

Haley Labrador struck our 12 as Fontbonne Academy rolled to a 13-1 win over Notre Dame Academy (Worcester). Ava Donaghue had four hits and three RBIs.

Caitlyn Simms belted a home run in Cohasset's 9-7 win over Cardinal Spellman.

Crystyliah Covel and Paige Taylor each hd two hits and an RBI in Oliver Ames' 12-3 loss to Franklin.

Kiley Murdock tossed a complete game with 15 strikeouts and Brianna Hewitt was 3-for-3 (triple) in Rockland's 10-3 win over Holbrook.

BASEBALL

Abington defeated Carver, 10-0, behind a shutout from John Sellon (4 hits, 5 strikeouts). Ryan Solimini had two hits and three runs. Steve Madden and Pat Cummings each had two-hit, three-RBI days. Ryder Holmes pitch well in relief in the loss.

Scituate defeated Cohasset, 2-1, as Mikey Kostek had a walk-off RBI and Parker Freedman pitched well. Tucker Bliss pitched well for the Skippers in the loss.

Canton defeated North Attleboro, 3-2, as Kyle Redquest threw a complete game without a walk or an earned run allowed.

Archbishop Williams lost to Boston Latin Academy, 5-1. Sophomore Charlie Kreuz had his first varsity hit, a double.

Freshman Braedan Nicholson was brilliant in his varsity debut for Rockland in a 9-0 win over Holbrook. He allowed one hit, while striking out 13 and walking none. Shawn Boostrom was 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI.

Southeastern lost to Upper Cape Tech, 4-1.

Avon's Jordan Medeiros threw a five-inning no-hitter in a 17-1 win over Norfolk Aggie. Medeiros and Ben Mayo each had three hits.

Somerset Berkley defeated Middleboro, 2-1.

Cardinal Spellman lost to Winthrop, 8-6. Lucas Soares went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases in the loss while Alex Confarotta had a pair of RBIs.

Diman defeated West Bridgewater, 6-1, but James Sheedy pitched well in the loss. Christian Bates had two hits, including a triple.

David Rodgers went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs in Oliver Ames' 5-3 win over Franklin. Lucas Riley earned the win on the mound and Andrew Whiteside had a two-inning save. Harrison Fitzpatrick reached base in all four of his plate appearances.

GIRLS TENNIS

Norwell's Joy D'Souza (first singles), Vivien Zayotti (second singles) and Jane Santos/Isabelle Bousquet (first doubles) all won 6-0, 6-0 in a 5-0 win over Rockland.

Whitman-Hanson defeated Abington, 4-1, as Sam Jacobsen (second singles), Rachel Boulger (third singles), Sophie Ennis/Maddy Morris (first doubles) and Mary Lynam/Mari Santalucia (second doubles) won for the Panthers.

Hannah Farber won her match at first singles, but Oliver Ames fell to Franklin, 4-1.

BOYS TENNIS

North Quincy swept Norwell, 5-0.

Patrick Dolan and Max Westerbeke won their matches, but Oliver Ames lost to Franklin, 3-2.

Eighth-graders Wyatt Cooley and Andrew Wagner won at first doubles, but Bridgewater-Raynham fell to Plymouth North, 4-1. It was the first varsity win for both Trojans.

Abington's Nathan Ludlam won at first singles, but Whitman-Hanson took the match, 4-1.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Quincy defeated Weymouth in four sets, 25-19, 26-28, 25-22, 25-16, getting 55 kills on 48 assists with 76 digs as a team.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Peyton Mathisen struck for five goals in South Shore Tech's 13-2 win over Bristol-Plymouth. Ava Miller (2 goals), Liliana Berquist (2 goals), Sophie Bovill (goal, assist) and Sophia Grasso (goal, assist) each had two-point days.

Whitman-Hanson rallied from a fourth-quarter 8-6 deficit to defeat Bridgewater-Raynham, 9-8. Shannon Balfe and Lily O'Donnell each had three goals and defender Camryn MacCallum added one. Liv Goodwin made 14 saves. Emily Keefe scored five goals in the loss, included No. 100 of her career.

Charlise Cox scored four goals, but Norwell fell to Concord-Carlisle, 12-7. Charlotte Pithie made 16 saves.

Erin Walsh led Hull to an 8-7 win over Archbishop Williams.

Hanover defeated Marshfield, 10-4, as Eva Kelliher scored her 100th career point. She stuffed the stat sheet with three goals, two assists, 4 draw controls, 4 groundballs and 3 caused turnovers.

BOYS LACROSSE

Nate Austin-Johnstone, Teddy Lally and Donovan Shaughnessy each had hat tricks in Thayer's 19-3 win over Austin Prep. Jackson Henehan was 22-for-23 on faceoffs.

BASEBALL

Scott Igo (4 innings, 7 strikeouts) and Alex Dias (2 innings, 5 strikeouts) combined for a shutout in Thayer's 7-0 win over Cushing. Pete Fischer, Carter Wright and Drew Snyder each had a pair of hits.

BOYS LACROSSE

Sean Rockwood scored both goals in Stoughton's 11-2 loss to Dedham.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Caroline Burtch scored four goals in Norwell's 15-0 win over Rockland.

Pembroke defeated Hull, 10-4. Ava Russo made 12 stops in the loss.

Claire Joyce (4 goals), Bella Duffy (3) and Ava MacDonald (3) starred in Braintree's 15-6 win over Canton. Callie Burchill added a pair of goals and 12 draw controls.
