Miles Bridges trolls Mark Jackson on Twitter after Suns-Clippers announcing mix-up

ESPN’s premier announcing trio, Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Breen, are three of the most familiar voices in NBA broadcasting. However, at least for Jackson and Van Gundy, they also are the subject of many complaints, both fair and foul.

With both often taking old-school approaches to analyzing games, social media is often ablaze with clips and quotes from the broadcast. The duo has enough mistakes and slip-ups in each broadcast to warrant criticism as well.

In that vein, during Saturday’s Game 4 in the Western Conference finals between the Suns and Clippers, Jackson had a notable slip-up late in the game. While reviewing a replay of an out-of-bounds call, Jackson referred to Suns forward Mikal Bridges as Miles Bridges, a forward for the Hornets, repeatedly.

In response, Miles took to Twitter to thank Jackson.

It’s certainly not the first time Miles and Mikal were mistaken for one another and given the success for each of them, it likely will not be the last time either.
