Mike Conley's 36 powers Grizzlies past 76ers

Mike Conley scored 36 points and added nine assists to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a close victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, 120-115. This is the fourth victory in a row for Memphis (19-4).

Conley finished 13-22 from the field (5-9 on 3-pointers) and 5-8 from the free throw line, in what was an efficient performance. Other top contributors for Memphis included Zach Randolph with 24 points and 11 rebounds, and Marc Gasol with 18 points and nine rebounds. On 5-16 shooting (3-11 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 11-12 from the free throw line, Robert Covington scored 24 points for Philadelphia in the loss. He also registered nine rebounds. Michael Carter-Williams chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Philadelphia (2-21) has now lost three consecutive games.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies square off with the Golden State Warriors, who are 21-2 on the year. The 76ers match up with the Boston Celtics, currently 7-14 this season. The 76ers have a 0-1 record against Boston this season.
