As you might expect, Packers fans have taken over Las Vegas

One of the top storylines in last week's Green Bay Packers game against the Detroit Lions was the presence of a massive traveling fan base. That's going to be true this week, too, though the script will be flipped.

As you might expect, Packers fans have flooded Las Vegas in advance of Monday night's game between the Packers and the Raiders. One week after excited Lions fans made quite the stir at Lambeau Field, Green Bay backers are upping their game in the desert. It's the first time Green Bay has played in Vegas since the Raiders franchise moved there in 2020.

According to data provided by Vivid Seats, Packers fans are projected to fill 54% of Allegiant Stadium for a game that counts as one of the hottest tickets to a Packers game in almost 15 years.

The projected average ticket price of $515 would be the most expensive seat for any game in the NFL this week (ahead of the $487 for Cowboys-San Francisco and well ahead of Buffalo-Jacksonville in England, at $391).

Since 2009, Vivid Seats has only recorded four Packers games with a higher average ticket, including the 2011 Super Bowl, last year's international game in England, a "Sunday Night Football" clash at New England in 2018 and the NFC Championship game at San Francisco in 2020.
