For the second time this season, redshirt freshman kicker Quinn Nordin has been named Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week.
Nordin converted all five of his field goal attempts and both extra points on Saturday against Air Force, giving him 17 points for the game (one shy of the school record).
His five successful field goals tied a single-game U-M record with K.C. Lopata, who also converted five against Minnesota in 2008.
Nordin's 13 attempts this season are the most in the nation, and his 11 makes are tied for the national lead.
The redshirt freshman also won the award after Michigan's season-opening win over Florida, when he converted four field goals in that game.
