Michigan football gets its second cornerback commitment in 2024

Michigan football put all its eggs at the cornerback position into three players from the state of Ohio, and one who ultimately ended up in SEC country.

The Wolverines strongly coveted four-stars Aaron Scott and Bryce West, but both committed to Ohio State. Terhyon Nichols pledged to Kentucky while Jameer Grimsley ended up at Alabama.

Since the maize and blue expanded the board, they got a quick flip from former Purdue pledge Jo’Ziah Edmond, and now they have a second man in the 2024 class at the cornerback position.

2024 Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglass three-star corner Jeremiah Lowe has long been on the radar, but he officially ended his recruitment by giving a verbal commitment to the Wolverines on Thursday.

As a three-star prospect, Lowe is rated the No. 1,089 player in the country and the 96th-best corner nationally, per the 247Sports Composite.

His Power Five offers include Kentucky, Boston College, Missouri, and West Virginia. He’s Michigan’s 28th pledge in the 2024 cycle.
