Michael Penix, Bo Nix join Caleb Williams as top-12 Pac-12 NFL draft picks

What a wild — and successful — NFL draft night it was for the Pac-12 and its quarterbacks. Not many people had the top three Pac-12 quarterbacks going off the board in the first 12 picks, but that’s exactly what happened. USC’s Caleb Williams was always expected to go at No. 1 in the 2024 NFL draft, but Michael Penix went at No. 8 to the Atlanta Falcons and Bo Nix went at 12 to the Denver Broncos. Six quarterbacks were taken in the first 12 picks of the draft, and the Pac-12 had three — half — of them. What a gold rush it was.

You will want to follow Broncos Wire and Ducks Wire for more coverage of the Bo Nix selection, which — if Penix had not been taken by the Falcons — would have received a lot more discussion on draft night.
