Florida basketball center Micah Handlogten suffered what appeared to be a devastating lower leg injury in the SEC Tournament championship against Auburn on Sunday.
The sophomore left the game on a stretcher in the first half, and the game was stopped for several moments as trainers attended to him on the court. The ESPN broadcast also showed blood on his leg.

Handlogten, who has started 32 games this season, was averaging 5.5 points and 7.1 rebounds with 0.8 blocks per game this season entering the matchup on Sunday.
Handlogten is reportedly being sent to a local hospital, ESPN's Marty Smith reported on the broadcast.

Handlogten was sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his injury on Sunday, per reports from the game and ESPN's Marty Smith. Smith later reported Florida coach Todd Golden told him that Handlogten fractured his leg and is being further evaluated.
