Miami Dolphins defeat Dallas Cowboys to clinch playoff berth

The Dolphins (10-4) got back on track last Sunday with a 30-0 thrashing of the New York Jets to move on from a devastating collapse against the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football the week prior.

Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill missed his first game as a Dolphin last week with an ankle injury. Nonetheless, Hill continues to lead the NFL in receiving with 1,542 yards and nine touchdowns.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is the NFL leader in passing yards with 3,921 as well as 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Running back Raheem Mostert set the Dolphins' single-season record for single-season rushing touchdowns (17) and total touchdowns (19) in last week's victory. He continues to lead the NFL in rushing touchdowns (18) and is third in the league with 966 rushing yards.

Dallas (10-4) saw its lofty aspirations humbled in last week's 31-10 defeat at the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Dak Prescott and the Cowboys entered MVP and Super Bowl conversations after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 the week prior.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series against the Dolphins 8-7. Dallas won the most recent meeting 31-6 on Sept. 22, 2019.
