Mia Hoffmann takes 1st, Will Termont 2nd at Hibbing invite

Sep. 28—HIBBING — The Bemidji High School cross country teams had a banner day on Thursday in Hibbing.

Facing the field at the Hibbing Rotary XC Invite, the Bemidji boys took first place. Will Termont led the Lumberjacks with a second-place finish (16:13.2), while Isaac Schouten took sixth place in 17:05 flat.

Caleb Knott (15th, 17:49.4); Tanner Johnson (19th, 17:55.4) and Moses Son (17:57.6) rounded out the team score. Adam Allery (29th, 18:13.1) and Carson Turn (54th, 18:48.9) also competed for the Jacks.

On the girls side, Bemidji took fifth as a group. Mia Hoffmann placed first with a time of 18:12.1.

Addison Maish (17th, 21:06.0); Raya Nordlund (25th, 21:30.4); Josey LaValley (31st, 21:40.7) and Sydney Beise (101st, 24:26.5) completed the team score.

Brenalen Fredriksen-Holm (102nd, 24:29.4) and Claire Storey (106th, 24:47.1) also competed for BHS.
