Meet the Montgomery Advertiser's All-Area high school baseball team for 2024

Here are the 2024 Montgomery Advertiser all-area high school baseball team selections. Squads will be split by first- and second- team and the Player of the Year.

Player of the Year: Tabor Offord (UTL)

Saint James, Jr.

Why Chosen: Offord was awarded the ASWA Class 3A Hitter of the Year after finishing with a .458 batting average and 43 RBIs. He added 17 stolen bases in 18 attempts. On the mound, he allowed 14 earned runs and struck out 90 batters.

First Team

Drew Britton

Pike Road, Sr.

Why Chosen: The Baylor baseball commit finished his final season with a .402 batting average, 26 RBIs and a home run.

Parker Blake

Prattville Christian, Sr.

Why Chosen: Blake finished with 78 strikeouts to go with a 7-2 record on the mound. He added 28 RBIs with a .402 batting average.

Drey Barrett

Holtville, Sr.

Why Chosen: Barrett finished with 33 RBIs to go with four home runs. He added 12 stolen bases to his stat sheet.

Jaden Eason

Elmore County, Jr.

Why Chosen: Eason finished with 27 RBIs and a .566 on-base percentage. He also had one home run.

Fleming Hall

Trinity, Jr.

Why Chosen: Hall led the Wildcats with five home runs this season. He added 31 RBIs and 13 stolen bases.

Rick McBride

Montgomery Academy, Sr.

Why Chosen: McBride finished with a batting average of .493 with 15 RBIs. He led the Eagles with 17 stolen bases.

Cody Markham

Pike Road, Sr.

Why Chosen: Markham finished with 23 RBIs and 25 stolen bases. He added two home runs to his season totals.

Brady Rascoll

Trinity, Sr.

Why Chosen: Rascoll finished with a batting average of .412 and drove in 31 runs. He added seven stolen bases and a home run.

Jacob Smith

Wetumpka, Sr.

Why Chosen: Smith finished with 20 RBIs, five stolen bases and home run. He had a .470 on-base percentage.
