Matthew McConaughey celebrates 54th birthday at Texas football vs. Kansas State game
Not even his 54th birthday could stop Matthew McConaughey from attending Texas' 11 a.m. matchup against Kansas State.
The Minister of Culture attended Fox Sports' Big Noon Kickoff pregame show with Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart and Mark Ingram II. There, the crew surprised McConaughey with a bottle of his and his wife's new Pantalones Organic Tequila and a birthday cake that said, "Happy Birthday Matthew!"
The audience sang happy birthday and once he entered Darrell K Royal Stadium, the crowd there also greeted him and Ricky Williams with warm wishes, though Williams was celebrating the 25th anniversary of his winning the Heisman.
