Matt Leinart picks LSU to win national title, Urban Meyer has Tigers in CFP
With the 2023 season getting into full swing on Saturday, it’s time to get those last-second preseason predictions in.
Fox’s Big Noon Saturday pregame crew made its College Football Playoff picks on the broadcast, and both Urban Meyer and Heisman-winning quarterback Matt Leinart picked LSU to finish in the final four.
Leinart even went a step further, as he picked the Tigers to ultimately win the national championship this season.
After winning 10 games and the SEC West in 2022 but finishing just on the outside of playoff contention, LSU is looking to take another leap forward this fall in coach Brian Kelly’s second season.
This team could have playoff potential, and it’s clear that both Meyer and Leinart see things that way.
