Matchups set for Maryland lacrosse playoffs. Here's where, when Bayside South teams play

The state playoffs have arrived for spring sports, and there will be more battles among Bayside South lacrosse squads as they each try to make deep playoff runs.

Here is the state playoff picture for the Bayside South lacrosse squads:

Boys Lacrosse

The Bayside South Champion Stephen Decatur Seahawks are the No. 1 seed in the Class 2A East II Region, and will receive a bye in both the quarterfinals and semifinals of the regional playoffs.

James M. Bennett are the No. 2 seed in that same region, and they will host Salisbury rivals and No. 3 seed Parkside in the regional semifinals on May 10. The winner of this semifinal matchup will go on to face Stephen Decatur in the regional finals.

Girls Lacrosse

The Stephen Decatur Girls Lacrosse team lost just two games on the season, as they cruised towards a Bayside South title. Now the No. 1 seed in the Class 2A East II Region, they will also get a bye in both the regional quarterfinals and semifinals.

James M. Bennett will also host Parkside on May 10 in the girls lacrosse regional semifinals, with the winner of that game also traveling to face Decatur in the regional finals.
