Marion County High School Sports: Several spring sports enter postseason, MCIAC Softball
High school sports around Marion County are reaching a fever pitch. Boys weightlifting, boys and girls lacrosse, and boys and girls tennis are the first to enter the postseason. The State title meet starts on April 14th for the lifters.
Back in the Ocala area, we have a week of intercounty softball teams playing for an MCIAC title. The tournament starts Monday and continues through Thursday.
Beach volleyball, boys volleyball, track and field, and flag football all enter their last week of the regular season.
