The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, known as March Madness, begins Tuesday, March 19, and lasts through April 8. The women's tournament starts Wednesday, March 20, and lasts through April 7.

When is March Madness 2024?
The men's tournament runs from March 19 through April 8. Here's the full men's schedule:
First Four: March 19-20.
First round: March 21-22.
Second round: March 23-24.
Sweet 16: March 28-29.
Elite Eight: March 30-31.
Final Four: April 6.
NCAA championship game: April 8.

First Four: March 20-21.
First round: March 22-23.
Second round: March 24-25.
Sweet 16: March 29-30.
Elite Eight: March 31-April 1.
Final Four: April 5, at 7:30 and 9 p.m.
NCAA championship game: April 7 at 3 p.m.
Where is March Madness played in 2024?
Stadiums and arenas across the country will host the men's tournament games. The First Four games, March 19-20, will be at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio. The Final Four and the championship game, on April 6 and 8, will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The women's Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games will be played at two sites, with eight teams playing at each site. The March 29-April 1 games will be at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, and Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland will host the Final Four and national championship, scheduled for April 5 and 7.
How to watch, stream March Madness
Each of the 2024 NCAA Tournament games will air live on CBS, TNT, TBS or truTV. Streaming options include the NCAA March Madness live app, Fubo — which offers a free trial to potential subscribers — and Sling TV, which offers packages that include Turner Broadcast stations.

Who won March Madness 2023?
The University of Connecticut men's basketball team earned its fifth national championship last year after defeating San Diego State 76-59. The LSU women's basketball team won its first NCAA championship in 2023, beating the University of Iowa 102-85.
