Find out how many yards all of the Rockford-area football stars finished with in 2023
The IHSA football season drew to a close in exciting fashion last weekend, with two area teams feeling different emotions after Lena-Winslow fell in the Class 1A state title game and Byron won big in the 3A championship showdown.

With the season over, it's time to take a look at the final stats for all of the Rockford-area teams and players out of the Big Northern Conference and the NUIC. Caden Considine led Byron and finished with 1,630 yards rushing and 27 TDs, while Gage Dunker was the workhorse most of the way for Le-Win, and he finished with an NUIC single-season record of 2,604 yards and 41 TDs.
