Magic Johnson congratulates fellow Spartan Jaren Jackson Jr. on winning NBA DPOY Award
One of Michigan State’s most famous alumni has issued a congratulatory tweet to Jaren Jackson Jr. on recently winning the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
Magic Johnson — a fellow former Michigan State basketball star — sent out a congrats message to Jackson on Tuesday morning after Jackson won the prestigious defensive NBA award. Below is the tweet from Magic:

Jackson led the NBA this year with three blocks per game, and has quietly become one of the NBA’s best young defensive stars for the Memphis Grizzlies.
