There were many different reactions to the news that broke Tuesday that former Heiseman winner and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow wants to now try his hand at professional baseball. Matter of fact, how about Terry Francona, the current manager of the Cleveland Indians who happens to have been the skipper for the Birmingham Barons back in 1994 when a lanky 31-year-old named Michael Jordan played outfield for him. Tebow, who turns 29 next week, was All-State as a junior at his high school in Florida.
