LSU women's basketball score vs. Kentucky: Live updates

LSU women's basketball has won seven straight games, and it would take a bluegrass miracle for Kentucky to snap its streak.

Kim Mulkey and the No. 9 Tigers (25-4, 12-3 SEC) host the Wildcats (11-18, 4-11) inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday (1 p.m., SEC Network). LSU will observe Senior Day to recognize stars Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith in a ceremony.

Reese and Van Lith each have a year of eligibility remaining, and it's unclear if they'll forfeit their final season and go to the WNBA or return to Baton Rouge.

Aside from the pomp and circumstance, Van Lith, Reese and the Tigers want to keep the momentum they've built going as the SEC Tournament waits on the other side of their matchup with the Wildcats. LSU has clinched the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

Kentucky has struggled this season, managing to win four SEC games. Senior forward Ajae Petty, former LSU player, is the Wildcats' best player. She averaged 14.6 points per game while making 52.5% of her shots.
